I'm just flabbergasted at how complete of a game this is. Between the storyline, excellent blend of game mechanics from various Mario games, great graphics, I don't have anything bad to say about it. Maybe a larger screen, but then again my computer wouldn't be able to handle that so it's not really an issue. I'm at work so I have to play with the sound muted, so I can't talk to that.

So, once again--bravo.

Seriously, I think the joke is a bit of irony with some referential humor thrown in.

Also, I think from now on, you can add that last sentence in Potato's review to just about anything for effect.

Short and sweet (although not tooo short). NIce intro, funny antics, great wrap-up....everything synched with the music nicely as well. This was very enjoyable to watch.

But Mr. Game and Watch's crab shuffle I think sealed it up for me--THAT was really funny.

Fuck PETA. PETA is to ASPCA as Al Quaeda (however you spell it) is to regular Muslim folk.

I'm truly sorry for the hardships that animals go through, but that's just the way it goes. I'm more concerned for human rights violations than turkey rights. I enjoy tofu whenever I eat it, but I enjoy animal meat. Cow, chicken, turkey, lobster, crab, oyster, clam, mussel, kangaroo, bison, duck--I've had them all. Although it's usually just cow, chicken and turkey.

Anyway, if you think I'm going to visit my mom for Thanksgiving and tell her to throw away the turkey she's been preparing and go tofu, you've got another thing coming. And by "you," I mean all ethical veggieheads.

As for Ghostmint's comments below, could you be any more elitist? "The world's problems are caused by meat-eaters. Famous philosophers and poets said so!" If an actor or rapper says that, are you going to believe them, too? Alfred Nobel created dynamite, you know.

Whatever. Overall this would have been an 8 or 9, but there's a lot to be said for telling people to give up turkey for Turkey Day.

I understand the importance of a higher difficulty to make the reward more gratifying, but the learning curve on this is pretty steep. I mean, right off the bat, I still haven't beaten the first level on a bunch of tries and I'm no beginner to gaming. Still, I imagine once I figure it out I'll be able to handle future levels more easily.

This wasn't about the pickup lines or dialogue or anything. It was all about the awesome artwork. Pretty cool.

"I have not had wine to excess since a high school" -- hehe, that's a really, really formal way of saying it in English. You want it to read more like "I haven't gotten drunk like that since high school."

I'd be glad to Americanize the dialogue in any future work you do. Now I'll go check out your other work.

Also, Tenseiga is correct in pointing out the "focas" typos--which I believe have an equal chance of being intentional--but incorrect in stating that "morale" was a typo. The word "morale" refers to the general mood and spirits of the group. In this instance it was used properly.

If it was spelled "moral" that would have refered to something different entirely and wouldn't have made sense.

So yeah, artwork, voice acting, everything was awesome.

on sheer originality. took me like 40 minutes, but i got through them all. there were a few towards the end that were tough, considering they required "out of the box" tactics.
